Camden's first day and Braves Baseball Game

The summer is officially over for Camden. He started kindergarten today. We drove him to school this morning and he rode the bus home. He had a great day and is looking forward to tomorrow.

(I think Griffin was upset that Camden was starting school and he wasn't.)

To celebrate the last day of the summer we took the kids to a Braves baseball game. The Braves lost but that didn't matter. We had tons of fun! The kids even got to run the bases after the game!

Wow, it has been a long time...

It has been a long time since my last post. Sorry, don't know where the time went.

Anyway, here is a family picture from Destin, a picture of the three kids on the beach and Camden and Isabel from today at soccer camp. It was crazy hair day. Enjoy!!!

Camden all dressed up!

Here is Camden in his outfit for his Pre-K graduation next Thursday. He'll be wearing a cap and gown at the actual graduation so you won't see these handsome clothes. He is very proud to have his very first tie like Daddy!

Griffin's new seat

Griffin has been sitting in this spot for a couple of days now. It doesn't look very comfortable but he seems to like it. This morning, he sat down, saw me and said cheese. I think he was telling me to take a picture of him so I did. It turned out cute and made it onto the blog!

On the slopes!

John and I got to ski together for the first time in Whistler, Canada. We had great snow, great weather and great company! Here is the one and only picture we got together.

Zoo Day!

Today was Zoo Day in Camden's class. I tried to take some pictures of him this morning before school but he did not cooperate. He said it was too cold and could not smile. I got two shots of the back/side of the zebra costume. I was planning on taking some more pictures of him when he got home from school this afternoon but his costume didn't look too great anymore. The white stripes had almost completely come off of his fake crocs and his tail was smashed. So unfortunately, these pictues are it.

Look at his grumpy face. He was not a happy zebra.

Zoo Day

Thursday is Zoo Day in Camden's class. The classroom will be a zoo with all of the kids dressed up as zoo animals. Believe it or not, I created a zebra costume for Camden. All by myself as Isabel likes to say! Below is a preview of the costume (just the hat). The paint on the shirt and shoes isn't dry yet. Keep your fingers crossed that it is dry on Thursday. The tail is complete(and very cute) but you'll have to tune in on Thursday to see it.
